![]() ![]() For optimal damage on bosses, you will want to get Keen, then Furious, use the Active Skill: Berserker Spirit to get a party wide attack boost, and then use Active: Fury Number 7, slashing back and forth through the boss to pile on the damage and hopefully knock him down. Upon getting a critical hit, that buff is changed in for Furious, which vastly increases the power of your Fury attacks. This gives Lann a non-expirable buff called Keen, that ups your critical hit chance. To get the most out of your Furies though, you will want to use the Thousand Needles skill, Slip Dash in, hit the left button, normal attacks, repeatedly, and finish with a smash. A critical hit with a Gliding Fury opens up the chance to perform a second one, that does even greater damage. This attack is fast, devastating, and has a good chance at knocking down a boss, or just blowing away a normal monster. Pressing the right button, or the Smash button as it will heretofore be known, will have Lann perform a dashing slash in the direction you are pressing to move in. When Lann gets a critical strike, an icon appears over his head showing a mouse with the right finger button pressed. It also gives Lann the greatest range for a Dodge out of an opponent's attack range, as well as the greatest range of dashing in to attack an enemy when a moment of weakness presents itself.ĭouble dash in, perform a Rising Crescent, and hopefully, hit a critical strike, which allows a Fury strike.įuries? Oh, those are Lann's main damage dealing skills. This makes him eminently survivable should the player be able to control Lann properly. The amount of time Lann has for invulnerability is the longest of the characters, and he can Slip Dash twice in a row before having to "reset" his stance to dodge again. ![]() Twin-Swords:A Sword Lann has the Slip Dash skill, which is central to his playstyle. ![]() Regardless, Lann is definitely a fun and easy class to play, but difficult to master. Therefore, they must take caution and space themselves from opponents in order to stay alive. Both Twin and Spear Swords can slip in between attacks through Slip Dash and Rolling, respectively, although Twin Spears have much more difficulty to accomplish this. Unlike other characters, Lann has no actual self-defense skills, as opposed to Fiona's Guard & Heavy Stander, Evie's Mana Shield and Mana Amber, and Karok's Absorb Shock & Weaving. Spears also have an extremely limited playstyle as they only have one smash enhancement (Moon Splitter) and one additional skill (Fury Infusion), while Swords have three smash enhancements (Gust Sting, Pummel Storm and Fanning Slash), two additional skills (Thousand Needles and Double Crescent), two dodge enhancements (Slip Dash Proficiency and Nimble Dash) and an additional SP skill (Active: Raging Fever). On the other hand, Twin Spears are also quick, have greatly increased attack and critical rate and can recover Stamina quicker due to Fury Infusion, making him one of the top DPS (Damage Per Second) classes, but has a poor dodge mechanism, often causing them to take more hits. Twin Swords are quick and versatile, allowing one to slide around enemies and avoid their attacks via Slip Dash. It's a simple explanation but the skill of the person controlling Lann makes a large difference in combat success. Vindi Wiki: As one of the quickest melee combatants of the group, it is his responsibility to slice and dice while avoiding damage.
